Head Room
The friendly and good-natured Stephen Berkowitz in today’s comic is the twenty-fourth and final member of the elite Cameo in a WAH Comic club. Stephen purchased his cameo before the official announcement that WAH was coming to an end. I warned him that his cameo would be kinda different than the rest, and that it would be a while before he saw it. Being the nice guy that he is, he said he was fine with whatever, which is good, because Paul and I excel at “whatever.”
Looking back, I’m really glad that we stole the idea from another webcomic to give people the opportunity to purchase a cameo in Woody After Hours. It allowed us to get in touch with some of fans, and it really pushed us to make some unique strips. I’m very proud of what we’ve created together, and very grateful that these people allowed us to immortalize them in our universe.
In a completely unrelated note, I finally posted My Late Night With Seth Meyers Experience. Check it out.

Was it necessary to put a speech bubble in front of my handsome head?!
Sorry about that. We tried to find a way around it, but couldn’t make it work. If it helps at all, I was bummed about it too.
At least you weren’t the person in the 5th panel who was completely covered…
Sweet! I’m happy how this ‘whatever’ turned out. When I realized that I’d be a cameo in one of the last WAH strips, I was shocked (and damn lucky to have sent the request in when I did) to say the least. I found WAH in 2011 (when I was brought here through Odori Park) and will be sad to see it go. Kudos to both of you for the great comics so far, and nothing but the best of luck in your future projects!
Glad you liked it!
Just know, Nikolas, that I used your face from the screaming panel of your strip to show your frustration at being covered
