Tonight Show Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon:

It’s rumored that The View is considering replacing Barbara Walters with the show’s first ever male co-host. In other words, I think we just found another way to punish Donald Sterling.

There are reports that Kanye West is planning to release a three hour spoken word album. So, if you’re a fan of Kanye, get ready to prove it.

A man in California is making news for running a mile while drinking four bears all under five minutes. Sure, but when I try and do it they tell me to get off the treadmill and leave the gym.

The comedy segment bits were “Celebrity Photobomb” and “In Reply To.” Both of them were entertaining enough to recommend. If you only have time for one, go with “Celebrity Photobomb.”:

David Spade was the first couch guest. His stand-up special called My Fake Problems premieres this weekend. The interview was great, but only because most of it was taken up with a hilarious story of David’s first stand-up gig on The Tonight Show Staring Johnny Carson. I don’t normally find David all that fun to watch, but he was on fire this time. Here’s the final two-thirds of the interview (the first third isn’t worth worrying about):

Sophia Bush was the second couch guest. She is one of the stars on the show Chicago P.D. The interview was good. Sophia was charismatic, lively and amusing. She and Jimmy had a nice rapport, and there was also some decent flirting going on. It’s too bad they didn’t have time to play a game together. I bet it would have rocked. Here’s most of the interview:

The Both was the musical guest. They were ok.

Enjoyable show. I give it:
