Late Night Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:

Microsoft founder Bill Gates attended a fundraiser for President Obama on Friday. Yeah, he wasn’t invited, but in typical Microsoft fashion he crashed it.

CNN announced that instead of using podiums, at Wednesday’s debate the candidates will be sitting at a table. Which could get awkward when Newt Gingrich asks to see a menu.

It’s Broadway Week here on Late Night you guys. Starting off solid tonight we have a performance from the show How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, which is much better than the original title: The Kim Kardashian Story.

Turns out most Oscar voters are older men. In fact, when they heard about the movie The Descendants they just thought it was a documentary about their testicles.

Over the weekend Paris Hilton won thirty thousand dollars playing blackjack in Las Vegas. Yeah, even God was like, “There is no Me.”

The desk segments were Jimmy Fallon Back On Broadway and Late Night E-Cards. The Broadway songs were very entertaining:

Anjelica Houston was the first couch guest. She is on the show Smash. The interview was fine. Anjelica was energetic and told some decent stories. I dunno, I just wasn’t really into it. Jimmy was, however, and that’s what really matters. Here’s the first half of the interview:

Hugh Dancy was the second couch guest. He is in the Broadway play Venus in Fur. The interview was pretty good. Hugh was very charismatic and told some entertaining stories. Here’s the interview:

Todd Glass was the third couch guest. He’s a standup comedian and podcaster. The interview was quick, but terrific. Todd was a great combination of very funny and personal. This is the kind of interview that I wish every host had with every guest. The interview is worth watching:

Nick Jonas from How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying was the musical guest. He gave a nice performance.

Very good show. I give it:
