Lopez Tonight Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Lopez Tonight:
Last week it was reported that the city of Detroit lost 25% of its population. And that was before Charlie Sheen played there.
Charlie Sheen was so bad, but there’s always a silver lining, he’s been hired to host next year’s Oscars.
There’s a company in New Zealand that has come out with a beer for breakfast. I think we’ve already got that, it’s called beer.
Over the weekend Snooki took part in a WrestleMania pay-per-view event. During her match she got body slammed. She’s fine, but they’re never going to get the orange stain out of the mat.
Rainn Wilson was the couch guest. He is on the television show The Office and in the film Super. The interview was fine, but a little boring. Rainn comes off as a pretty nice and simple guy, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but the whole thing just felt like it was missing some kind of energy.
Between guests Lopez did a segment called So, You See, What Happened Was… It was funny enough:
Lil Jon was the second couch guest. He’s a rapper, DJ and a contestant on the current season of Celebrity Appearance. The interview was very entertaining. Lil Jon was funny and amusing to watch. I found the energy I was looking for in the Rainn interview, Lil Jon had it:
Panic! At the Disco was the musical guest. They were pretty good.
