Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:
You know, it rained pretty hard here over the last few of days, which is God’s way of trying to flush the Real Housewives of Orange County into the ocean.
It rained on the LA Marathon yesterday. Fortunately, unlike other marathons, in the LA Marathon you’re allowed to drive your cars.
Jimmy actually had a desk segment. That’s something I don’t see very often. And, it was pretty entertaining to boot:
Liv Tyler was the first couch guest. She is in the upcoming movie Super. The interview was ok. I was bummed, but not really surprised, that most of Jimmy’s questions were focused on Steven Tyler instead of on Liv. I’m sure Liv is more than use to it, as she took the questions in stride. Still, I was disappointed in Jimmy. I think he could have handled Liv’s appearance much better.
Marc Cuban was the second couch guest. He is a billionaire and owner of the Dallas Mavericks. The interview was interesting and fun, and then bizarre. It’s totally worth watching the whole thing:
Brett Dennen was the musical guest. He was fine.
Overall it was a good show. I give it:
