Late Night Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:

Charlie Sheen is apparently moving into a house next door to Paris Hilton. Cops are thrilled. Now they can just send one car and use it like a Super Shuttle.

A new study found that Washington, D.C. is the most socially networked city in the country. Which explains why, today, the Senate said, “All in favor say ‘like’.”

Time Warner Cable is launching a new app that lets customers watch live television on their iPads. And this is nice, to make it feel like you’re watching Time Warner on your television it doesn’t work.

The world’s most expensive dog, a Tibetan Mastiff puppy was just sold in China for a million dollars. It’s a lot of money, but that also includes an appetizer and dessert.

The desk segments were a tribute to LIU coach Jim Ferry and Late-Night Hashtags. The tribute was ok, and the hashtags was hilarious:

Amy Poehler was the first couch guest. She stars on the show Parks and Recreation. I’ve never been a big Amy fan. I just don’t think that she, by herself, is very funny. She becomes a lot funnier, however, when she’s with the right person. Jimmy is one of those right peoples. They have  terrific chemistry and are a real pleasure to watch. Here’s the first half of the interview:

Tiger Woods was the second couch guest. He’s a golfer, you may have heard of him. The interview was fine. Tiger has been on Late Night before, so he was on familiar ground. He hasn’t been on since all the scandals, however, so he was still very guarded. Here’s the first half of the interview:

Jimmy, Amy and Tiger played a round of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters. It’s a long segment, but very entertaining to watch:

This was solid light-night entertainment. I give it:
