Conan Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Conan:
Right now there is snow on the ground in 49 of the 50 states, with the only exception being Florida. Can you believe that? Yeah. In other words in all 50 states people are driving 20 miles per hour on the freeway.
Today San Francisco opened the nation’s first gay history museum. The museum is called San Francisco.
MGM is saying the next James Bond movie almost didn’t get made because the economy is so bad, which explains the newest Bond villain: Cash for Goldfinger.
The desk segments included Staffer’s Kids Say the Darndest Things. It was short and funny:
Denis Leary was the first couch guest. He stars on the show Rescue Me. I’m honestly not being lazy when I say that trying to describe this interview and pick out highlights really won’t do it justice. It would just be better if you watched the whole thing. It was really entertaining:
Ice Cube was the second couch guest. He is a rapper, actor and producer. I’m a pretty decent fan of Ice Cube. I think he’s very talented and done some good stuff. The interview was good.
Tim Minchin was the stand-up/musical guest. He sang a song about an inflatable doll. It was ok.
