I don’t know about your cat, but ours loves to go into dark places, like closets and cabinets, and sniff around. We believe she does this in order to make sure the places are safe for us to enter after she’s done. Another possibility is that she’s trying to find a way out of the house to freedom. Either way, it’s pretty darn cute.
CBS announced recently that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will premiere on Tuesday, September 8th. From The Hollywood Reporter article:
Between Letterman’s May 20 finale and Colbert’s fall launch, Tassler says they plan to run encore presentations of the network’s new and enduring hit shows during the late-night time slot. The network chief also acknowledged that she’s been in conversation with Letterman about special programming leading up to the veteran host’s spring signoff.
That’s not necessarily a good lead-in for The Late Late Show. I hope James Corden is able to build an audience without The Late Show’s help for the first five months. It may be a bigger challenge than before now.
Speaking of The Late Late Show, I was only half-right when I said in Monday’s blog post that Josh Robert Thompson is going to be doing stand-up on LLS this Thursday. He will be, but the episode won’t air until March. Bummer.
