Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes and bits from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:
The Waffle House is teaming up with an app called “Roadie” to create a new delivery service where you can get anything you want dropped off at a Waffle House. Say you need something delivered, you use the app and connect with the driver and they drop your package off at the nearest Waffle House restaurant. The cost for delivery will range between eight dollars and two hundred dollars, and they’ll get it to you when there’s a driver headed in that direction. Or, if you need faster service, you can send it Panda Express.
There was no comedy segment.
Will Smith was the first couch guest. He stars in the new film Focus. The interview was very good. Will was charismatic, animated and told some amusing stories. He’s an exceptional showman who knows how to have fun and effortlessly entertain people at the same time. He even sang part of his hit “Summertime” for the audience after the interview was over. He doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously either, which I really admire. Here were my favorite parts of the interview:
Elizabeth Henstridge was the second couch guest. She is on the show Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The interview was superb. Elizabeth was a complete delight, and I wish she and Jimmy could have talked a lot longer. I loved her stories, her openness and, of course, her accent. Here’s the interview:
Sam Hunt was the musical guest. He gave a nice performance.
Great show. I give it:
