Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights

Last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! was excellent. If you have Hulu Plus, or can find it on ABC.com, I recommend watching the entire episode. Otherwise, you can watch most of it in my review.

Here were my favorite monologue jokes:

We have a great lineup of guests tonight. Jennifer Aniston is here with us. I have been a huge fan of Jennifer’s ever since I saw her in the movie Leprechaun. To make her feel at home tonight we have members of the paparazzi going through the trash in her dressing room.

We have a new bachelor here at ABC. His name is Chris Soules. He was one of the final three on the last season of The Bachelorette. Chris is the farmer from Iowa, which is appropriate considering the fact that ABC is milking this show for every drop.

There was no comedy segment.

Jennifer Aniston was the first couch guest. She is in the new film Life of Crime. The interview was great. Jennifer was happy, intimate and shared some amusing tidbits.  Jimmy and Jennifer are old friends, and their conversation reflected the bond that they share. Here’s a majority of the interview:

After a break Jimmy and Jennifer did a “fan fiction scene” from the 90’s television show Friends together with some special guests. It was very funny:

Adam Perry Lang was the cooking guest. Jimmy takes chefs more seriously than other late-night hosts because of his own love of cooking, so there wasn’t a lot of the silliness and getting in the way that I normally look forward to watching. Regardless, it was a solid segment, made even more so by how smoothly the entire thing went considering they did it outside on Hollywood Boulevard.

Bob Mould was the musical guest. He rocked:

This was a flawless show. I give it:
