Last night’s Conan was taped earlier in the week. There were only a handful of monologue jokes, and none of them are worth sharing.
The comedy segment bit was Basic Cable Name That Tune. Unlike his monologue, Conan made this very entertaining:
Aaron Paul was the first couch guest. He’s in the new film Need for Speed. The interview was good. Aaron was nice, down-to-earth and told some amusing stories. I like Aaron a lot. He’s a talented actor who’s kind and unpretentious. I hope he continues to have a successful career. Here are my favorite parts of the interview:
Maggie Q was the second couch guest. She is in the upcoming film Divergent. The interview was great. Maggie was friendly, interesting and had a wonderful sense of humor. Conan and Andy were a lot of fun too, as each one made playful efforts to grab her attention and make her laugh. Here’s 95% of the interview:
Ian Karmel was the stand-up guest. He was very funny.
Enjoyable show that, had a monologue existed, had the potential to be flawless. I give it:
