Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights
Last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! monologue was pretty weak. The only jokes and bit I enjoyed are conveniently wrapped up in this clip:
The comedy segment was The Art of Seduction with Christoph Waltz. I wanted it to be good, but it had no comedic value whatsoever.
James Franco was the first couch guest. He is in the upcoming film Oz The Great and Powerful. The interview was fine. James was nice, mellow and told some interesting stories. He gets teased a lot online and in the media for always looking and acting high, but it’s pretty easy to imagine he actually is during this segment. Here’s the first part of the interview. It starts with James in a hot air balloon to promote Oz. It’s a terrible train wreck, but you forget about it as soon as he introduces his grandmother in the audience:
Nigella Lawson was the second couch guest. She is a judge on the show The Taste. The interview was good. Nigella was pleasant, open and told some amusing stories. She was easily the most enjoyable part of the entire show. Here’s the interview:
Fall Out Boy was the musical guest. They were ok.
An almost decent show. I give it:
