Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey had a huge opening at the box office this weekend. The biggest opening weekend for a movie ever in December, which is amazing considering the fact that it’s a three-hour movie about dwarves eating breakfast.
The ABC Television Network has confirmed that it has a deal with Justin Bieber to develop a sitcom based on his life. This isn’t his first foray into TV. His previous television experience includes a part on CSI, he was one of the hosts of Punk’d on MTV and he played a mop in a Pine Sol commercial.
Hugh Jackman was the first couch guest. He stars in the upcoming film Les Miserables. The interview was excellent. Hugh was energetic, funny, charming and told enjoyable stories. In summary, he was terrific and an example of the perfect late-night guest. Here’s the interview:
Jenna Fischer was the second couch guest. She is one of the stars of The Office. The interview was great. Jenna was pleasant and told a really long and very entertaining story about her first job. I have to admit for having a little bit of a soft spot for Jenna, but I’m sure that did not influence my subjective review at all. Here’s the interview:
2 Chainz was the musical guest. His performance was ok.
