Late Night Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen revealed that she and Tom Brady are expecting their second child. They haven’t confirmed if it’s a boy or a girl, but they’re 100% certain it’s better than other babies.
Have you guys seen this Ragu commercial? It’s a new commercial that shows a boy walking in on his parents in bed, and then they fix him spaghetti to make it up to him. I know what you’re thinking: Ragueww. The commercial still isn’t half as weird as the one where the boy walks in on his mom with Chef Boyardee.
Last week two UPS employees were arrested with forty pounds of marijuana in their delivery truck. Which explains their new slogan: What can brownies do for you?
The comedy segments were Cupid’s Arrow and Audience Google Search Results. Both were pretty lame.
Liv Tyler was the first couch guest. She is in the new film Robot and Frank. The interview was pretty good. Liv was more mellow than usual due to a cold, but she still managed to have fun and tell some amusing stories. She even went above and beyond, in my opinion, by participating in a sketch with Jimmy that was stupid. Here’s the first part of the interview:
Maria Sharapova was the second couch guest. She is a tennis pro who will be playing in the US Open next week. The interview was fine. Maria was friendly, but I couldn’t help shake the feeling that this was just business instead of pleasure for her. Maria’s personality is the exact opposite of Liv’s. It would have been interesting to watch the two of them out there together. Here’s the first part of the interview:
