Late Night Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:
It’s been reported the Mitt Romney’s personal Hotmail account has been hacked. Yeah, Hotmail. Even Ron Paul was like, “Get with it you old geezer.”
The weather in the Northeast has been unseasonably cold this week. Yeah, people there are still waiting for the heat to show up, just like basketball fans in Miami.
Argentina is now letting people change their gender without permission from a judge or a doctor. Which explains Argentina’s new name: Argentony.
The desk segments were On The Brightside and New iPhone Apps. They were both pretty weak, but New iPhone Apps was silly enough that it’s worth watching:
Julianne Hough was the first couch guest. She is in the upcoming film Rock of Ages. The interview was pretty non-existent. I can summarize it in one sentence: Julianne was in the first Harry Potter film for a split second and worked with a lot of cool people in Rock of Ages. There, I just saved you six minutes. After a break they played a game of ladder golf. It provided little to no entertainment value.
Colin Hanks was the second couch guest. He is in the film High School, which is over two years old, but apparently just now being released. This interview wasn’t any better than the first one unfortunately. Again, I can summarize it one sentence: Colin was in a movie with Michael Chiklis in a ginger wig.
Bob Marley was the standup guest. He was mildly funny. The audience agreed.
A enjoyed some of the silliness, but the show had very little substance. I give it:
