Conan Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Conan.
Last night 82-year old Christopher Plumber became the oldest actor ever to win an academy award. Of course, when the show started he was only 79.
As of tomorrow Rick Santorum will be assigned Secret Service agents. This is historic. It’s the first time Santorum has agreed to use any kind of protection.
A spokesman for Ben & Jerry’s has apologized for creating an Asian-themed ice cream called “Taste the Lin-sanity.” Unfortunately, he apologized by saying, “Me so sorry.”
The desk segment was Fan Corrections. This is, in my opinion, the most consistently funny bit he does in his desk segments. This one was no exception:
Nick DiPaolo and Artie Lange were the first couch guests. They are the hosts of the Sirius XM radio show The Nick and Artie Show. The interview was very entertaining to watch. Nick and Artie bickered like an old married couple before, during and after each question and answer. Just about everything that came out of their mouths was funny. Here’s a clip of what I’m talking about:
Beth Behrs was the second couch guest. She stars on the show Two Broke Girls. The interview was good. Beth was told was very pleasant, laughed a lot and told some interesting stories. Here’s the second half of the interview:
Chiddy Bang was the musical guest. They were awful. If not sure if it was just the song, or them in general, but it was the worst musical performance I had seen ever on a late-night talk show.
Pretty good show, I give it:
