Conan Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Conan:
The NYPD created a new unit that will use social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace to catch criminals. Criminals caught on Facebook and Twitter will be arrested, while criminals caught on MySpace will be told about Facebook.
At a mall in Florida a man was arrested for stealing a cardboard cutout of Justin Bieber. It’s the second theft linked to Justin Bieber, if you also include my heart.
The desk segment was Fan Corrections. The Star Trek fan in me found it very funny:
Kathy Griffin was the first couch guest. She is a comedian who starred on the show My Life on the D-List. The interview was fine, but Kathy is just too obnoxious to be entertaining. I know that’s the point of her comedy, but it’s not my kind of funny. She tries hard, she’s smart, she’s got guts and she knows and understands how to do comedy, but she just isn’t my style of humor.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse was the second couch guest. He’s in the upcoming film Fright Night. This interview was a lot better. Chris was funny without over doing it and told some interesting stories. Here’s the interview:
