Lopez Tonight Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Lopez Tonight:
A company has come out with an Anthony Weiner action figure. It’s twelve inches, but the doll is sold separately.
There’s supposedly now a new sex tape, are you ready for who’s in it: Shaquille O’Neal. It starts out hot and heavy, Shaq going at it; two minutes he’s out of breath. It’s embarrassing; the partner in sex video calls him for a three-second violation.
I’ve seen the tape, and I’ll tell you what, it’s Shaq. It’s definitely Shaq. During the movie she yells the whole time, “I’m open. I’m open.”
Cee Lo Green was the first couch guest. He is a musician and judge on the show The Voice. The interview was terrific. Cee Lo was down to earth and very personable. He and Lopez had really good chemistry that made the whole thing very enjoyable to watch. Here’s the interview:
JJ Abrams was the second couch guest. He wrote and directed the new film Super 8. I’m a huge Abrams fan, as Lost is one of my favorite shows of all time. The interview was pretty good. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as he and Lopez seem like polar opposites to me, but they played off each other well. Unfortunately Lopez’s site is having issues showing with the interview clip. I’ll check back later and see if it’s available.
Brandon Scott Wolf was the stand-up guest. I’m sorry, I tried, I really did, but I just did not find him funny.
