Late Night Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:

It feels good to be back. We’re live. We’ve been off for two weeks. And I have to say it’s been pretty nice just sleeping in every day. Yeah, I was at my second job as an air traffic controller.

President Obama hosted the annual White House Easter Egg Roll today. It was a little awkward though. Donald Trump showed up and demanded to see each egg’s birth certificate.

Jewish people spent the last week observing Passover. Meanwhile the Knicks spent today observing It’s Over.

A new study found that Americans spend 1.2 trillion dollars every year on stuff they don’t need. Or, as Republicans call it: health care.

The desk segments were Freestylin’ with the Roots and Do Not Read List. Neither one was really funny.

Daniel Radcliffe was the first couch guest. He is the star of the Harry Potter movies and is currently performing on Broadway. The interview was pretty good. Daniel was funny and entertaining to watch. Plus, as he points out, he’s British, which automatically makes him adorable when he speaks. Here’s the interview:

Aly Michalka was the second couch guest. She is on the show Hellcats. The interview was very short and not very exciting. I’ve watched it twice now in an attempt to understand why I didn’t enjoy it. My conclusion is that I just didn’t find Aly interesting.

Darius Rucker was the musical guest. He and Jimmy performed a song together. It was fun.

Fine show. I give it:
