Late Night Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:

You came on a very special night for us. It is our show’s two-year anniversary. It’s crazy thinking about being here for two years. When we started Jay Leno was hosting the Tonight Show.

Charlie Sheen told E! News that he plans to release his own fragrance. It combines the delightful aromas of sweat, cigarettes and denial.

A man in New Orleans wrote a new musical about Hurricane Katrina. It’s pretty cool. In fact FEMA says it plans on going to see it a week after it closes.

The desk segments were the unveiling of the newest flavor of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, and the first episode of their new series The Jersey Floor. Both were pretty good:

Abigail Breslin was the first couch guest. She is in the new film Rango. The interview was entertaining, but too short and not very deep. Here’s a clip, which is basically the entire interview:

Mike Tyson was the second couch guest. He’s a former boxer and has a new television show coming out called Taking on Tyson. I’m not a Tyson fan, but the interview was pretty good. Here’s a clip:

Motorhead was the musical guest. They’re still rocking.

Really good show. I give it:
