Late Late Show Highlights

I’ve been reviewing Ferguson a lot lately, but that’s because Leno and Fallon are off this week, and Kimmel’s show doesn’t get posted on Hulu until 24 hours or so after it aired. So, since we’ve got Wednesday night’s Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson available that’s what we’re going to go with. S’ok? S’ok.

The  pre-opening credit segment wasn’t anything special, so we’re going to skip it.

The monologue segment was pretty decent. It centered on Larry King’s retirement announcement. If you like jokes about Larry King, and who doesn’t, then you’ll enjoy the monologue:

The desk segment was checking the tweets and emails. It had some good moments:

Mindy Kaling was the first couch guest. She is on The Office and is in the new film Despicable Me. I enjoyed her interview and thought she did a good job.

Myron Mixon was the second couch guest. He’s a bar-b-que master. The last time he was on the Late Late Show I considered it the best cooking segment, and one of the best overall segments, I have ever seen on a late-night show. This one wasn’t that awesome, but it was still pretty awesome. Check it out:

The closing segment wrapped up the cooking segment. We’re going to skip that too. You aren’t missing out on anything.

Good show. I give it:
