Isabel’s True Calling
This strip is a perfect example of the different emotions Paul and I go through during the creation process. After I wrote this strip I thought to myself, “I am a clever guy.” Paul read the strip and thought, “@#$%! Ben.” That’s not an exact quote, but I’m sure it’s close.
I am unsure who to root for in tonight’s NCAA Final. Living in North Carolina makes me legally required to go with UNC. I have, however, a nasty habit of rooting for underdogs and, perhaps just as important, I graduated from MSU. One might call this a dilemma.
There is a very good chance that Wednesday’s strip might be delayed until Thursday. Sometimes these things happen.

Personally, I think this is brilliant. Plus, I love the completely gratuitous violence. Wish I could have seen the point of the knife sticking through Isabel’s back though. Couldn’t Paul have drawn in a mirror behind her?
This has been the best strip yet, no wait the old lady one was a little better. Keep up the good work.
