Hijinks May Ensue
Crowbar Benson is a terrific webcomic written and illustrated the equally terrific Sandy Debreuil. Paul and I are really excited about having Crowbar in our comic. He’s a great character for Woody and the gang to interact with.
Like Crowbar, Sandy has been a great character to interact with as well. There are a lot of things I like about the him: he’s got a really good sense of humor, he’s very talented when it comes to working in Flash and he’s a pretty personable guy.
The one thing I’m iffy on, as we all should be, is that Sandy is Canadian. I’m not advocating any kind of bias against Sandy for it; I’m just complying with the Full Canadian Disclosure Act of 1984, which states that if you are aware that someone is Canadian, you have to warn other people of the fact. No, I don’t have a link to the Act so that you can verify its existence. You’ll just have to trust that I’m a legal scholar.
Hey! I hear what you’re thinking. I could too be a legal scholar! Just read the darn comic.

Oh, man, I can’t wait to see where this goes. Crowbar is one of my all-time favorite characters.
Yeah, Sandy is a rad fellow, and a terrific cartoonist.
I met him at ECCC, probably like you did too.
Congratz on getting ole Crowbar into the strip.
Awesome! Love me some Canadian content.
Nice, if I don’t quit reading this comic I’m going to end up having even MORE webcomics in my bookmarks…. 20+ already. Psyched for the collaboration, keep up the good work.
Please, that pipecleaner is such a lightweight, one beer, even a canadian one, will put him down for the night.
@George I think you’re really gonna enjoy this one–great stuff is yet to to come!
@Daniel–Yes, we did too. Great guy!
@Ben and I l love you, Ben #webcomicsfistbump
@Kasey Thanks, sir! As long as you’re reading us I’m happy! But seriously we have had some great guests worth following.
@Marrock I think you may be right!
That fifth panel may be the best single panel you’ve drawn yet, Paul. Vividly recaptures the death stare/Rosemary’sbabyfullheadrotation my mom could wield with X-men authority. Obviously Woody was looking the other way or he would have been turned to granite.
