Brought To You By The Coalition For A Happier Hour
The good-looking man in today’s comic, who would be a billionaire if only society paid him to drink socially, is Jay Sellers. He’s the eleventh member of the très chic and very elite Cameo in a WAH Comic club. Jay is many things, husband, father, brother, son, friend, programmer, co-worker, comedian, playa and Mac user, but most importantly he’s a great guy who would love to sit down with you and have a beer or two, or, more likely, ten. Are you busy later today? He’ll save you a seat.
The theme for today’s strip was influenced by those gut-wrenching SPCA commercials with Sara McLachlan. They’re really effective with their message, but they also make me wanna hide under a blanket and cry until my body no longer contains any water. Curious? You can check one out on .
Do you want to be a member of this exclusive Cameo in a WAH Comic club? You bet your ass you do. Unlike a massage, this treat truly comes with a happy ending. You can even give it as a gift to someone you love, like or even truly despise. We’re really flexible. And, for a limited time we’re offering absolutely nothing extra. You won’t find a better deal anywhere else on this page.
Ready to dive in? Well, then, learn how by clicking on the Be An Instant Celebrity button located in the left-hand column on our site. It’s the one with the ecstatic-looking Joseph.
Are you still reading this blog post? Boy you have a lot of time to kill don’t you? Well, consider yourself the first to learn that today is our three-year anniversary. It was March 9th 2009 that we published our first WAH strip. Now, 473 strips later, we’re no better off than the day we started. So happy anniversary to us!
And on that note: have a great weekend.
– Ben
I’d like to be the first fan to tell you Congrats on the three years. You guys are awesome
Maybe one day, I’ll be a celebrity. One day.
Thank you very much. We really appreciate that kind of feedback.
Take your time with becoming a celebrity. Do it when it feels right to you. It’s a journey, not a destination.
Best. WAH. Ever.
Glad you like it. Thanks for helping support WAH.
The Best, well, maybe I’ll give you that.
Congrats on 3 years Ben and Paul.
Thanks Rock. Miss you dude.
Wow, three years! And to think it’s still as bad as it was when you first started. I applaud you and Paul’s consistency. 😛 Seriously, congrats guys!
When Paul and I started we agreed that consistency was of the utmost importance. I don’t know why we chose that over, say, fame and fortune, but we did. So here we are.
Third anniversary… that’s what, paper? Or something equally useless. But awesome anyway. Congrats.
Am I the only person who thinks the old guy in panel 2 kinda looks like Wodehouse, Archer’s valet (make sure you pronounce the T)?
The bartender in panel 2 does not look like Wodehouse, if only for the simple fact that we will never be as cool as that show.
3 years x 52 weeks x 3 comics per week x 4 minutes per comics = huh? do i count the blog entries? shit. time to go get a beer.
It shouldn’t have taken that many years of reading WAH for you to get a beer. We usually drive people to drink long before that.
