I Met A Dude In A Bar
Back in January I reached out to Kurt Decker and asked if I could interview him about his experiences being a cameraman for Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Kurt was very kind, open and generous with his time. The interview came out great.
Since I’m in NYC for a few days I asked Kurt if we could grab a few drinks and catch up. Being the cool guy that he is he agreed immediately. We met at his favorite bar near 30 Rock after Monday’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon taping and hung out for a couple of hours. It was awesome.
I’m happy to report that Kurt is doing really well. Everything’s great at The Tonight Show, he had an absolute blast when the show spent a week in Orlando and he’s flying out to LA this weekend to attend the 66th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards because he’s nominated for his work in the Saturday Night Live episode that Jimmy Fallon hosted.
