Conan Highlights
Last night’s Conan was a flawless show, and I recommend watching the entire episode from beginning to end. I can’t embed it in this post, so you’ll have to watch it on the Team Coco site.
If, however, you only have time to watch bits and pieces of it, then I can accommodate you here.
Here were my favorite monologue jokes:
Governor Jerry Brown has declared California to be in an official drought emergency. So ladies, when I ask you to take a shower with me, I’m just trying to conserve water.
Despite his recent scandals, Chris Christie has some good news: he’s getting a lot of support from New Jersey’s Hispanics. Some Hispanics like Christie’s moderate conservatism, others believe that if you hit him he’ll break open and spill out candy.
It’s been reported in the news that Bruce Jenner has undergone surgery to decrease the size of his Adam’s apple. Jenner said, “Hey, it worked for Khloe.”
The comedy segment bit was “Fan Corrections.” It was entertaining:
Matt LeBlanc was the first couch guest. He stars on the show Episodes. Matt was pleasant, mellow and told some amusing stories. He was a little difficult to hear, which makes me think he was under the weather. If that’s true then he did the show when other guests would have bowed out, which makes him even cooler than he already is. Here’s the interview:
Joseph “Joe” Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, Salvatore “Sal” Vulcano and Brian “Q” Quinn were the second couch guests. They star on the show Impractical Jokers. The interview was good. They were energetic, funny and the clips of their show were hilarious. Here’s the interview:
Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue was the musical guest. They were terrific:
Again, this was a flawless show. I give it:
