Late Late Show Highlights
I guess it’s a good thing I decided to catch last night’s Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, as it’s his last episode in his current studio. I can’t wait to see what his new digs look like.
The cold open was pretty funny:
It’s not often I say this, but the entire monologue was entertaining. Trying to pick out individual jokes would not do it justice. So I think it’s worth watching the whole thing:
The comedy segment was tweetmail with special guest Chris Hardwick. This segment was fine, but I found Chris annoying enough that I don’t recommend it. I wish Craig had done tweetmail without him.
Carla Gugino was the only couch guest. She is on the show Political Animals. Carla was on Late Night a few weeks ago, and boy the two interviews couldn’t be more different. Craig was pretty relentless in his flirting and sexual innuendos. It made for some funny stuff. Carla took it all in stride. I got the impression that she and Craig are good friends:
The closing segment was almost… touching:
