Late Late Show Highlights
The cold open from last night’s Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson was ok, but we’re gonna skip it.
Here were my favorite monologue jokes:
It’s a great day for America everybody. It’s a very stormy day in New York. I’m not worried about New Yorkers, though, they can handle it. What I’m worried about is that there’s a storm coming here to LA. We can’t handle it, we’re fru-fru.
It’s true, the West Coast is being threatened by a tropical storm called, and I’m making this up, Fabio. Weathermen say that Fabio formed three days ago. They’re wrong. Fabio has been spinning around in my dreams for years.
Today 7-11 stores in Singapore debuted an instant mashed potatoes dispenser. Here is my question: why are these mashed potato machines only in Singapore? It doesn’t seem fair to me. This means the Indonesians are pulling ahead of us in the cholesterol race. This is serious. We may have to raise our threat-level to DEFCON Bacon.
The comedy segment was tweetmail. It was hilarious:
Ray Romano was the only couch guest. He’s in the Ice Age 4: Continental Drift. The interview was terrific. Ray was very funny, and his back and forth with Craig and Geoff was really entertaining. Here’s the interview:
Trampled By Turtles was the musical guest. They did a nice job.
The closing segment was too quick to spend time on.
Good show. I give it:
