Late Night Highlights
Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:
Officials in Los Angeles found no explosives aboard a Thai Airways flight yesterday, after a bomb threat was written on a bathroom mirror. Although, I’m not sure being in a bathroom and writing “about to drop a bomb” makes you a terrorist.
A man in Georgia was arrested after he traded a gun for NASCAR tickets. Is it me or is the point of having a gun so you don’t have to trade for stuff?
Congratulations to our pal Mike Tyson and his wife who are expecting a baby boy. Tyson said he’s already looking forward to playing his favorite game with the baby: Got your ear.
The desk segments were Late Night Hashtags and Summer Do Not Read List. They were both amusing, but the hashtags bit was better:
Elijah Wood was the first couch guest. He is in the new film The Romantics. The interview was pretty entertaining. Elijah and Jimmy had great chemistry and played off each other well. They also competed in a game called Stump. It was a ton of fun to watch:
Maggie Q was the second couch guest. She is in the new show Nikita. The interview was great; Fallon was very funny and Maggie had a great sense of humor. I just wish her time on the show could have been longer. The interview is worth watching:
Andy Haynes was the stand-up guest. He was hilarious, but his humor is pretty dark, and some parts may be NSFW:
