Late Late Show Highlights
Craig is back after two weeks off on vacation. Let’s see how he’s doing over at the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson:
The pre-opening credit segment wasn’t anything to call home about. So we’re going to skip picking up this phone.
Here were my favorite monologue jokes:
A great day for America, but not a great day for my friend Paris Hilton. Over the weekend she was arrested for cocaine possession. Now in her defense, it was in Las Vegas. In Vegas cocaine is served at the breakfast buffet.
Police found cocaine in Paris’ purse. They became suspicious when that little dog she keeps in there was seen with a rolled up dollar bill.
Two weeks is a long time for me to be away. This studio was totally dark and quiet. Then I went away on vacation.
A lot happened while we were off. Let’s see, Americans were told to stay away from tainted eggs. By the way, “Tainted Eggs” is the name of a club over there in West Hollywood.
They had to recall a half-billion eggs. That’s not easy. You try and putting an egg back up a chicken’s butt.
The desk segment was tweets and emails. It was really entertaining.
Adam Goldberg was the couch guest. I’m not sure if he was on the show to promote any projects. They never got around to discussing any if he was. The interview reminded me of a Seinfeld episode: it was a lot of fun to watch, but was about absolutely nothing. If you have 14 minutes and a burning desire to watch Craig doing what he does best, then here you go:
was the musical guest. They did a really nice job.
The closing segment was decently funny:
Good show. I give it:
