Turdacious Correspondence

The inaugural week of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon is over. Friday’s show with Justin Timberlake was much more enjoyable than Thursday’s episode. I’d say it was on par with either Tuesday or Wednesday night’s show. The premiere on Monday, however, was the best of the bunch. Overall, I’d argue that it was a pretty entertaining week of late-night television.

Now it’s time to focus on the inaugural week of Late Night with Seth Meyers. Will Seth be good? Will he be funny? Will he last? Who knows. It’s much too early to tell. I, however, have faith in the guy. If Seth were a stock I’d rate him a “buy and hold.” I think he’s going to do well. And, hey, if he doesn’t, there are plenty of other late-night shows to invest in.
