Taking The Fight Bilingual
Colin and Arisa Easton hail from the webcomic Odori Park, which is written and illustrated by Chris Watkins.
Chris has a lot on his plate currently, so Paul and I really appreciate the time he’s taking to have his characters in our strip. I can honestly say that Chris is the nicest dude-married-to-a-Japanese-woman I’ve ever met over the web.
I recommend taking some time this weekend to check out his site. Doing so will get a two-for-one deal. Not only can you catch up on Odori Park, you can also read his previously unpublished comic strip Surreality, Inc.
Have a great weekend.

Those are a lot of kind words, Ben. Thanks! I’m looking forward to seeing how folks react to where this story goes
You mean Monday’s strip where they all get drunk and pick a fight with a rugby team? Yeah, should be interesting to see how readers like that cluster.
I wonder why Arisa was so angry with Colin when she heard that he had got them on the show: Did she already know what WAH was like?
Ooh! Good point, Francisco! My assumption was she was mad that she was signed up to do something without being asked prior to commitment. I think if I told my wife I got her on a talk show without consulting her, she wouldn’t be too pleased with me. Ben, Chris?
Paul’s answer is valid. Here’s another way to look at it: Due to Woody changing the format of the segment on them at the last minute, that changed her opinion of Woody and the memory of Colin giving her the news from neutral to negative, and that would have been the last time Colin pissed her off.
Good call! odoripark is hilarious!
Oh, this is really gonna be fun. Husband-wife teams are hilarious!
