Still No Victories In The War On Tara

Woody learned the art of Japanese insults not too long ago in this strip with Colin and Arisa from Odori Park.

Speaking of getting a sunburn yesterday, our waiter has finally arrived with a plate full of the third and final installment of my interview with Howie Noel, the creator of, and current artist (until it becomes sentient in 2014) for, the webcomic Tara Normal:

WAH: What area of your webcomic do you think needs to be improved upon?

HN: I think improvements can always be made in every area of the creative world. I think once you think ‘I’m the best ever’ you’ve failed. I always look to get better in every area of the comic. I’m never satisfied.

WAH: What are you doing when you’re not working on your webcomic?

HN: I’m thinking of the comic. Seriously, when I’ve not been working on the Wednesday update for the comic this month, I’ve been creating a special print issue of Tara’s origin story that won’t be able to be read online. Right now, I’m all Tara all the time.

Unfortunately this is our last comic with Tara, so it’s time to be sad as we say goodbye. Paul and I want the records to show that Howie was fantastic to work with on this story. We really appreciate his time and energy to see this arc through over the last 6 weeks.
