Pit Of Creamy Disappointment
Remember Chris? The artist who does the webcomic Odori Park? Whose characters have been featured in the last four strips? Not ringing any bells? Yesh. Pay attention people!
Well, regardless, here is part two of my interview with the always nice, always hungry and always busy Chris Watkins:
WAH: What is the main goal you’d like to achieve for yourself with your webcomic?
CW: Artistically, I’d like to make a comic that people connect to, that stays in their minds and leaves a lasting impact. Technically, I enjoy watching my skills develop. Practically, I’d like to believe it’s possible to support my family with comics. Then I could make more comics!
WAH: What is the main goal you’d like to achieve for your fans with your webcomic?
CW: One of my main goals overall is to make an emotional connection with my readers that sticks with them. Something they can enjoy in the moment, and remember fondly after reading. I also like building a relationship with my fans. So far, I’ve been really pleased with the friends and connections I’ve made through Odori Park.
And before we head out into the weekend, how about another Japanese game show clip:
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
