For the record, I would not have turned down any of those.
Thanks for hanging out with us for another week. Paul and I appreciate it and hope we were able to entertain you. Have a great weekend. See you on Monday.
Woody had better get that second kind of midnight snack some other time, because I’d say he’s earned it.
He’s really earned all of those. Twice.
Aside from the particular comic, simply because I don’t know where else to put it:
I personally think the events of the last year, and those coming up next year perhaps warrant a couple of new editions/ one-time only Golden Woody categories.
Late Night’s biggest loss: taking into account those who were cancelled (perhaps shouldn’t have been) and/or those who retired or otherwise left. I think the only nominees are Jay Leno, Craig Ferguson, David Letterman and Arsenio Hall… but there may be some I’m forgetting.
Best newcomer/replacement/ try-it-againer: Again, this category would include Arsenio Hall, too bad I heard his show is already cancelled. Jimmy Fallon as a replacement, Seth Myers, and then whoever steps into Craig’s slot, and Stephen Colbert.
Yes, I know the awards are up to your personal opinion – and I’m OK with that. I like to hear other people’s opinions about late night TV, especially if I don’t agree with them. 😉
The existence of more than one late night show on nearly every network is totally new, and I think it’s great there’s someone out there who cares enough to watch as much of it as possible. (So I don’t have to, like “The Soup.”)
I like those ideas and will keep them in mind. Thanks!
And those Titanfall Map Packs are now free
