Tonight Show Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon:

President Obama was in California over the weekend to attend a fundraiser hosted by the creator of Farmville. Obama and the creator of Farmville have a lot in common, cause they both really wish it was still 2009.

A new survey found that people in New York are the most generous tippers at restaurants. You can tell the money is good because the other day I met an actress who dreams of becoming a waitress.

Runners from Kenya came in first, second and third in the Chicago Marathon yesterday. Even crazier, all three runners turned out to be one dude lapping everyone.

The comedy segment bits were “I’ve Got Good News and Good News” and “Excuses.” Neither one was even remotely close to entertaining enough to spend your time watching.

Zach Galifianakis was the first couch guest. He is in the new film Birdman. The interview was great. Zach was terrific. I thoroughly enjoyed his dark humor and aloof attitude. His style isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I loved it. I just wish it could have gone on longer. Here’s the interview:

Casey Wilson was the second couch guest. She stars on the show Marry Me. The interview was fine. Casey was pleasant, lively and shared some amusing tidbits. There was nothing technically wrong with Casey’s interview. I just didn’t find her or her stories interesting enough to recommend.

Andrew Orvedahl was the stand-up guest. He had some funny moments:

Decent show. I give it:
