Conan Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Conan:

Tonight President Obama will make a primetime speech about how we’re going to deal with violent extremists and their sickening behavior. And when he’s done talking about the NFL he’ll address ISIS.

Are you excited about these new Apple products? Tech experts are saying that the new Apple iPhones are too big for most women to hold. Yes. Which is why Apple calls that model “The Conan.”

White Castle has confirmed that it is opening a restaurant in Las Vegas. Yes, it’s perfect for people in Vegas looking for one more bad choice to make while drunk.

The comedy segment bits were “Olive Garden’s Pasta Pass Was Just The Beginning” and “Reclining Seats Wreak Havoc In The CONAN Audience.” They were meh, so we’re going to skip them.

Seth Green was the first couch guest. He’s in the film The Identical. The interview was fine. Seth was enthusiastic, chummy and told some amusing stories. I like Seth a lot, and it’s always cool when he’s on Conan because their old friends. That said, while I enjoyed the first half of the interview quite a bit, the second half wasn’t nearly as interesting, and kinda fizzled out.

Leslie Bibb was the second couch guest. She is in the new film No Good Deed. The interview was very entertaining. Leslie was a ton of fun. She was so energetic, playful and had such a wonderful sense of humor, that both Conan and Andy couldn’t help but feed off of it and raise their game too. Here’s 95% of the interview. Some idiot, for some reason that I can’t fathom, cut out about a minute of Leslie and Conan flirting that was terrific. Other than that the whole thing is here:

Sturgill Simpson was the musical guest. He was great:

Good show. I give it:

– Woody
