Tonight Show Highlights

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is in Florida at Universal Orlando Resort all week. Despite the fact that Monday night’s episode evenly split  comedy-oriented talk and variety with commercials for Universal, I feel compelled to review another show, since late-night road trips are so rare. Hopefully this one will be better.

Here were my favorite monologue jokes:

It’s rumored that a new video game in the works is inspired by Kim Kardashian’s life. They’ve already got the name narrowed down to a couple of titles. It’s either going to be “Badonkey Kong” or “Assteroids.”

They just did a new survey that found that twenty-seven percent of airline passengers don’t like making small talk with the person sitting next to them, while the other seventy-three percent of passengers can’t take a hint.

A couple in New York found a three-foot python inside a couch while they were cleaning out their new apartment. But on the bright side, at least they can stop looking for their cat.

The comedy segment bit was “Audience Suggestion Box.” It was mediocre. Normally I would just skip the whole thing, but I enjoy watching people’s reactions when they’re on roller coasters, so here’s that:

Rosario Dawson was the first couch guest. She is in the upcoming film Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The interview was good, but too short. Rosario was personable, lively and shared some interesting news. It’s too bad she didn’t have more time; she’s a very charismatic and interesting person, and it would have nice if she could have talked more about her activism. Here’s the interview up to the Sim City preview:

Jeff Musial was the second couch guest. He’s an animal expert. The interview was great. Jeff was the complete package of entertainment: funny, peppy and brought some cool animals on the show. Stop reading my words and check out the  interview right now:

Fun was the musical guest. They gave a decent performance.

Fine show with bonus points given for being in Orlando. I give it:
