Tonight Show Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon:

In a new interview Rob Ford said he’s definitely running for reelection this year because he loves the people in his city. Cause nothing says that your sober like telling everyone in town that you love them.

I read about a team of military researchers that are developing a pizza that can stay edible for three years. It’s been a weird couple of years for the military; one minute you’re hunting Osama Bin Laden, the next you’re trying to outsmart Papa John’s.

The comedy segment bit was “#hashtag2” with Jonah Hill. It was ok, but not worth worrying about.

Bradley Cooper was the only couch guest. He’s up for an Academy Award for his role in the film American Hustle. The interview was fine, but very short and not very substantial. Bradley was his typical charismatic and friendly self. He and Fallon spent the entire time talking about American Hustle.

After the break they played a game of Charades with Tim McGraw and Emma Thompson. It was hilarious. Emma, especially, was awesome:

Fallon then did a segment called “GE Fallonventions” with three young inventors. It was funny, awkward and an excellent example of why Canadians are so much better than their neighbors to the South:

Tim McGraw was the musical guest. He gave a nice performance.

An entertaining show. I give it:
