Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:

Season four of Duck Dynasty premiered tonight on A&E. It’s a hugely popular show. If you’re not familiar with it, it follows a duck hunting family from West Monroe, Louisiana. They’re kinda like the Kardashians, but with less facial hair.

Justin Bieber did something nice yesterday, and he wants to make sure you know about it. He was driving through LA, he happened upon a woman asking for money, so he stopped and handed her some money and then he posted a picture of his good deed on Instagram. He posted it and wrote, “Always give back.” It’s a good message; maybe we can give him back to Canada.

The comedy segment was Lie Witness News. It’s cringeworthy:

Oprah Winfrey was the first couch guest. She is a media mogul who is in the new film Lee Daniels’ The Butler. The interview was very good. Oprah was warm, engaging and told some interesting stories. To top it off, she did a terrific bit at the end with a member of the audience. Here’s the interview:

Christopher Mintz-Plasse was the second couch guest. He is in the new movie Kick-Ass 2. The interview was great. Christopher was animated, outgoing and told some funny stories. I would imagine that going on after Oprah would be pretty daunting, but Christopher did a nice job. I wish the segment had been longer. Here’s the interview:

The Wanted was the musical guest. They were ok.

Entertaining show. I give it:
