Conan Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Conan:

A new poll just came out, and it says that most Democrats think that Anthony Weiner has basically lost his mind. Weiner said, “The important thing is, I haven’t lost my phone.”

The Winter Olympics are in Russia this year, and there’s already a controversy. A Russian official recently announced that gay athletes attending the 2014 Olympics there will be arrested. This is good news for the world’s three straight male figure skaters.

It’s been revealed that the NSA has a program that monitors everything anybody does on the internet at all times. I’m not worried though, cause my screen name is “ImAndyRitcher”.

The comedy segments were The Pope’s New Sitcom and Conan’s Video Blog. Neither bit was entertaining, but I recommend watching the first one for Conan and Andy’s honest and hilarious commentary afterwards:

Kevin Nealon was the first couch guest. He’s an actor and stand-up comedian who is currently on tour. The interview was goofy. Kevin was funny, and his banter with Conan was lively. Kevin didn’t come on the show to promote anything, so the interview was more free-flowing and relaxed than most. The first half, especially, was amusing to watch:

Michael B Jordan was the second couch guest. He stars in the new film Fruitvale Station. The interview was good. Michael was friendly and told some interesting stories. He’s been in plenty of stuff, but nothing I’ve seen, it was nice to get to know a little bit about him. Here’s the interview:

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros were the musical guest. What an eclectic group. I really liked their performance:

Enjoyable show. I give it:
