Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:

I’ll tell you something. You’re better looking in person than you are at home watching TV.

I’d like to start the show by wishing the administrative professionals watching a happy Administrative Professionals Day. I celebrated the way I always do: I had my administrative professional, Tim, buy himself a gift, wrap it and then pretend to be surprised when he opened it. I don’t know what it was, but he loved it.

Hey, you know what the worst job in America is? According to a company called CareerCast, the worst job in America is newspaper reporter. I guess they forgot to ask the guy who cleans the toilets at Dodger Stadium how things were going for him.

Bill Gates, unknowingly, disrespected the South Korean President when he met her on Monday. He shook her hand with one hand in his pocket, which is considered both a sign of disrespect and a very popular Alanis Morissette song. This was front page news all over the country. That seems strange to me. Their wacky neighbor to the North is one missed-call from Denis Rodman away from launching a nuclear missile, and they’re focused on this.

The comedy segment was Aunt Chippy Prom Consultant. It was pretty entertaining:

Topher Grace was the first couch guest. He’s in the new film The Big Wedding. The interview was very good. Topher was amusing and told some interesting stories. Here are the first two-thirds of the interview:

Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman were the second couch guests. They co-hosts the television show MythBusters. The interview was fun. They brought a high-speed camera and did some goofy stuff with Kimmel. Honestly, Conan did this bit better on his show, but it was still enjoyable to watch here:

Depeche Mode was the musical guest. They did a nice job.

Great show. I give it:
