Conan Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Conan:

Due to the budget cuts, all tours of the White House have been cancelled indefinitely. Yeah when he heard, Joe Biden said, “Now I’ll never see it.”

This is interesting: lawmakers in Hawaii passed a new law called the Steven Tyler Act. Basically the law gives men the right to gradually morph into old women.

A new study shows that senior citizens who play video games are happier. Apparently senior citizen’s two favorite games are Resident Evil and the microwave.

The comedy segment was Conan’s Video Blog. It wasn’t entertaining enough to recommend.

Matthew Fox was the first couch guest. He stars in the new film Emperor. The interview was fine. Matthew was nice and told some interesting stories. I like Matthew a lot and think he’s a very talented actor. He’s just so damn mellow when sitting in a chair and answering questions. I don’t get it. I just want to shake him awake. Anyhoo, here’s my favorite few minutes of the interview:

Anthony Jeselnik was the second couch guest. He is a stand-up comedian and star of the show The Jeselnik Offensive. The interview was excellent. Anthony was hilarious, his comedy was intelligent and his timing was solid. His charisma didn’t hurt him either. Turns out he was a writer for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’s first season too. Here’s 95% of the interview:

Ian Edwards was the stand-up guest. He was very funny. I enjoyed his set:

Good show. I give it:
