Late Late Show Highlights

The pre-opening credit segment from last night’s Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson wasn’t very entertaining. Let’s skip it.

Here were my favorite monologue jokes:

It’s a great day for America everybody. It is, however, not a great day for Snoop Dogg who was arrested in Texas for marijuana possession. Police suspected Snoop Dogg’s tour bus had marijuana in it. They say their biggest clue was that it was Snoop Dogg’s tour bus.

This is too bad. If Snoop’s convicted he could face one to fizzle yizzles in the pizzle.

Big birthday over in Britain, the 30th birthday of Prince William’s lovely bride Kate Middleton. Happy 30th birthday Duchess Middleton. She blew out the candles today and wished for the same thing she wishes for every year: her sister’s ass.

Last night the British royal family went to a screening of the movie Warhorse, and apparently Duchess Middleton burst into tears at the end of the movie. But then Prince Charles’ wife Camilla turned to her and said, “it’s ok, I wasn’t hurt during the film.”

The desk segment was tweetmail. It was kinda crazy and everywhere.

Howie Mandel was the only couch guest. He is a host of the show Mobbed and a judge on America’s Got Talent. The interview was ok. Howie is a pretty energetic guy, so it wasn’t a surprise that he didn’t sit still very often. I like Howie and think he’s funnier more than he’s not, but I’m not sure he’s compatible with Craig. The first part of the interview wasn’t very entertaining, but the second part was. Here’s the interview:

Randy Houser was the musical guest. He’s country, but he rocked it well enough.

The closing segment was quick and can be skipped.

Fine show. I give it:
