Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:

This is good news. The December issue of O Magazine is on newsstands. Thank God, it’s been like a month. It’s a very special addition. It has a record nine Oprahs on the cover. She’s multiplying! Who got Oprah wet after midnight? Definitely wasn’t Stedman.

There was another Republican presidential debate tonight. This one focused on why there are so many Republican presidential debates. It’s the first of two debates this week. Tonight was the performance debate and Saturday night is the results show.

The candidates argued about who’s created the most jobs. Mitt Romney said he created thousands of jobs as governor of Massachusetts. Rick Perry said he created thousands of jobs as governor of Texas. Herman Cain said he personally tried to create jobs for a number of women, but, um, now he’s getting attacked for it all of a sudden.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the political coin, the Occupy Wall street protest is in its second month. The protesters have now been occupying Wall street longer than Kris Humphries has occupied Kim Kardashian.

Robert Pattinson was the first couch guest. He is in the upcoming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 movie. Once the audience stopped screaming the interview went well. Robert was charismatic, friendly, down to earth and, despite hopping from interview to interview over the past few months, actually looked like he was having a decent time talking to Jimmy. He told some entertaining stories as well. I specifically enjoyed the behind the scenes peek at erotic scenes and baby robots in the film:

Freida Pinto was the second couch guest. She is in the new Immortals film. The interview was pretty good. Freida was pleasant, told some stories, laughed a lot and did an all-around nice job. Here’s the second-half of the interview:

Thompson Square was the musical guest. They were fine.

Very good show. I give it:
