Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:

I don’t mean to change the mood, but did you get your taxes done? Tax day is the day in which ordinary Americans send their money to Washington, D.C. and wealthy Americans send theirs to the Cayman Islands.

I learned something very interesting from my account last year. Did you know that on the memo line of the check you write to the IRS you’re suppose to write your social security number, and not “suck it Uncle Sam” with the drawing of the middle finger? It’s true.

This morning was the 115th running of the Boston Marathon. The race was won by a Kenyan this year. Those Kenyans can really run: foot races, presidential races, they really are amazing. In the men’s division runners from Kenya have won 19 of the last 22 years. We may have to start importing cheetahs to chase our American runners so we have a fair shot.

Courteney Cox was the first couch guest. She’s on the show Cougar Town and in the new Scream movie. The interview was good, but Courtney looked tired. Then again, she has a lot going on right now. Here’s the first part of the interview where she talks about the current situation with her estranged husband:

Gary Busey was the second couch guest. He was, until recently, a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice. Gary is a interesting guy and the interview was pretty entertaining. It’s worth watching:

JessieJ was the musical guest. I saw her performance when I reviewed the Tonight Show last week. You may be surprised to learn that she hasn’t changed in that time.

Fine show. I give it:
