Tonight Show Highlights

Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno:

An Applebee’s restaurant in Michigan is being investigated after they served alcohol to a 15 month-old baby. They served the kid a margarita. I can see a bartender mixing up a drink. That happens. It gets busy. Ok.  But if you’re rolling a sippy cup in margarita salt that’s gotta send up a red flag.

Ironically, you know what the drunken kid wants to be when he grows up? An airline pilot.

Applebee’s has gotten so much publicity out of this story that the problem is spreading. Now McDonald Happy Meals come with a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Well it happened again today. A two year-old in Florida was accidentally served sangria instead of orange juice at a local Olive Garden. The sad thing: even drunk the two year-old could still tell, “hey this isn’t really Italian food.”

The desk segments were Headlines and White Trash Repairs. Headlines is worth watching:

Diane Lane was the first couch guest. She is in the upcoming HBO film Cinema Verite. The interview was good. Diane was very pleasant. I enjoyed the second half of the interview where she and Jay discussed the family and story that Cinema Verite is based on:

Chris Jericho was the second couch guest. He is, among a ton of other things, a former professional wrestler and current contestant on Dancing with the Stars. The interview was fine. Chris was a ball of energy who couldn’t sit still and barely stopped talking long enough to let Jay ask the next question. Nothing wrong with that I guess. Here’s the first part of the interview:

JessieJ was the musical guest. She was ok.

Decent show. I give it:
