Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights
It’s been awhile since I visited the Kimmel-meister. Here were my favorite monologue jokes last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:
I did some research over the weekend. It turns out it’s not the turkey that makes you fall asleep. It’s actually the result of being drunk at 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
President Obama had an unusual weekend. On Friday he took an elbow to the face and had to get 12 stitches. He was in line at Best Buy trying to get a $49 Blu-ray player.
Ben Affleck was the first couch guest. He’s in the upcoming film The Company Men. I’m a big fan of Ben. I really enjoy him as an actor and as a person. He’s really near his best whenever he’s with Kimmel. They have so much fun together and it’s so entertaining to watch. Here’s the interview:
David Sedaris was the second couch guest. He is a humorist with a new book titled Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk. The interview was fine. A lot of people find David’s stories funny. I typically don’t. I’ve heard a lot of his stuff on NPR, and even seen a play he wrote, and I just don’t find his way of delivering humor to my liking. His stories were a little bit better this time. But it was still a “meh” interview.
Nicki Minaj was the musical guest. She was ok.
